New Biblioblog Google Custom Search Engine
Posted by Biblioblog Top 50 minions on June 7, 2009
We have added a Google Custom Search Engine, which allows you to search the content from the posts of every blog listed on The Complete List of Biblioblogs.
UPDATE: We have also added a second Google Custom Search Engine, which searches all Biblioblogs and all Related Blogs.

Looks good – except that I cannot find a single post from me in there.

I guess this gives me a concrete goal in my blogging. :-)

Polycarp – We realized that the search engine only works for currently active blogs, at present. So your earlier blog, which was active to the end of May, wouldn’t be on it. We will go back and pick up some of the main older blogs as well, as far as we are aware of them. That should pick up your posts. And then for any future blogs that come to an end, or change sites, we will leave the old blog on there to be searched.

Thanks, however, I have all of my old posts (courtesy of the nifty import/export feature of WordPress.com/org) on my new blog. Before you go changing anything on my account, if you were, give it to the end of the month, as Google takes a while to get everything indexes. I have only had my new blog open for a few weeks, and only about 5 days with the old blog closed to the public and search engines.
Thanks again.

Oh – you’re right – it will be Google taking time to index the new site.
